What do you take for granted

Freedom of choice and travel: Flexibility to be able to go where I choose, just get in the car and drive. Grocery shopping: Seeing what I need when out doing the groceries.

I ordered the groceries online as I was unable to walk around the shops. Being able to do shopping online is a big bonus. Fortunately, my husband popped out after work to get the milk. One of the things I did as soon as I realised my ankle was worse than I thought was got a bag and put in a few things that I use each day, like a book to read, my iPad, a phone charger, a drink bottle, a light cardigan, my wallet and my phone.

This is the accessory pack that moves around the home with me, saving me energy as I go about my day of recuperating and blogging. The little accessory bag to help my day go smoother is something I can control. Another thing I can control is how I see each day.

I can choose to be positive and have a happy day. There are so many things each day to be appreciative of, things within our control and things not within our control. Coffee is calling. I now smell the beautiful aroma of coffee. As I slowly make my way to the kitchen, I appreciate that I have the time to enjoy each moment of the day.

And enjoy coffee. Some can only dream of exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing a different culture. So the next time you go off to some exotic place, appreciate every moment. Walking, running, dancing, or even just moving in general is something that most of us take for granted.

But being able to move is one of the greatest things about being alive. Breathing is an involuntary action. Meaning, we do it whether we are aware of it or not. But remember that breathing is an essential part of living. Without it, well, you know what would happen.

You may not like your home right now. But remember that there are 1. They sleep in the cold pavements, under the bridge, or in public parks. Most of us have access to clean drinking water all our life that we often fail to appreciate it. Being able to read opens a door of opportunities. It gives you access to the world and all the knowledge it has to offer.

Unfortunately, we often take this ability for granted because everyone we know can read. Our family may not be our most favorite people on the planet but we know that they have our back when the going gets rough. But having a family and people we can rely on in times of need is something that many people can only wish for.
